So I signed up to X Premium last summer, to get the blue checkmark (and boost how many people saw my tweets).

Yet when I go into Premium it's giving me the option to sign up for like £3.50 a month - even though I'm already paying nearly 3 times that amount anyway.

Or does anybody still paying last year's prices automatically get moved to Premium+ ?

I dont know where you're seeing that. I checked about prices but there's no mention of new pricing for Premium. But there are three different Premium Plans.

$3 for Basic
$8 for Premium
$16 for Premium+

Are you sure that the £3.50 a month is not just a Basic plan?

It may well be, but I'm paying a different price to all of those.

I pay £9.60 a month which converts to around $11.95.

Ok, I've sorted it.

The layout was giving different figures for yearly payment. I'm currently on the middle option of Premium, allowing me to upgrade to Premium+

Maybe switched automatically, they usually sen an email about this prices changes on subscriptions.

do you find the check gives you a better reach than without it?

Very difficult to say, as I signed up for 'Twitter Blue' last summer and don't recollect a difference big enough to notice. Since then the algo has clearly changed a number of times.

But if I share a link, the link clicks is shit - like 20% of what it was say a year ago, and that's being kind - probably 10%. Fewer people using Twitter might play a part too of course.

I have a 1 word account with a lot of followers, so I think it plays a part in me appearing more official/trustworthy - so probably a better reach indirectly.

But now with Premium+ being a higher I've thought about upgrading as it's not a large amount to pay per month.
