Old personal Youtube channel or create new channel

Hello, I have an old, about 11 or so years Youtube channel with some random topic contents on it. It has about 500 subs. Should I continue with it, changing the name and niche topics, or should I create new fresh channel for that specific niche?

If you have 11 year old channel, it will be better to upload content there only. There will always be some authority given to old channels. So from point of getting views, it will help you. There can be some demerits also in certain cases.

The contents on the channel are super random, not a niche specific. I think the subs too are not targeted. So, I was thinking of growing the channel for a specific niche I have in mind

The achivement on old channel is not good enough to stick with it so you should go with a new channel.
