Well, it depends how competitive your niche is, ive found that a steady stream of views helps the rankings and for very competitive fields i add comments and ratings to the videos. There are people providing that service on BHW so try and hook them up! Also i think your forgetting that they are human beings visiting your video so if they like your video then they will rate and comment. If you put some trash in front of them then they will just move on.
