Yes, we usually add 1-2 relevant sentences around the backlink.

I am going to leave a honest review.

I bought a keyword to test it out on a money site around Mid Feb. It is now start of May '24 so 2 months have passed which is more than sufficient time to see the results. I paid $500 for 4-5 links and before I paid, he was full of confidence and said that the keyword will rank highly and even suggested I change the page title for it to which I did.

The result was that the 1 keyword I bought for dipped in rankings and is now on page 9.

I had you change the title tag because it wasn't optimized for anything, specifically the main keyword. When it comes to ranking anything, I can only give my best estimate as far as where I think it will rank. I never said it would rank on the first page, but did let you know that the keyword should move up some (which it did before the updates). You only ordered 5 total links, which is very little in the grand scheme of things. Also, since you ordered, there was a Spam and Core update, which was one of the biggest Google updates since Penguin in 2012. You did mention that you had ordered PBNs previously, so who knows what could've happened in the time you ordered and after the updates.

Look, I'm here to advise people on the best ways to use these links, but people have to be reasonable. You aren't going to buy 5 links and start ranking top 5. It's not how SEO works. My link drops should be used in combination with other link types (for diversity). There's no magic bullet in SEO. There are hundreds of ranking signals. If you are buying a small package and expecting a miracle, I would advise against ordering at all.
