What is better than google analytics that REALLY tracks LIVE traffic?

Its because when i go to my home page where google analytics is installed,, it DOESNT TRACK IT anddd there's a DELAY!!.

It is also missing where the traffic is coming from...ex google.com/search=toys by the date..which is frustrating to not know!

have you tried StatCounter? They do have live tracking, but it's not free unfortunately...

Also, I remember that many years ago there was a very good service called Heatmaps which was all about real time tracking. It was pretty good back then, but I'm not finding it in google anymore, they've probably been purchased by another company or they've rebranded. But you can try googling "heatmap analytics" or "real time tracking software", and you'll probably find many such services...

i've been using matomo for almost all of the websites for a good while now,
it got everything that's required including live tracking, you could give it a try,

be aware that might still need GA in case you're planning to apply for some ad network that might need that,
as well as flipping the website or whatever other reason as no one is likely to relly in other data

And how does it show you key phrase conversions to your site from search?

Aha, I see - you still need to keep google analytics to import data from it. But keeping matomo in this case is absolutely pointless, a couple of lines of code and you yourself and raw reports analyst can get any statistics you need.

You'll have to pay for that, it's a premium paid feature,
I stick to GSC when it comes to keywords, it does track pages tho

Came to the thread to suggest Statcounter as I've been using them for years.

It's free to try. But $9-18 per 100k pageviews.

Yes, I saw already on their site and added to the answer above that matomo makes absolutely no sense, so you still need analytics.
