My only site that I have got hit and so I decided to add new articles to it but they are only indexed and not showing up in the serps.
My old articles are showing up so my site isn't facing any penalties/issues.

Is it worth it creating a new blog right now? I'm just demotivated because my new articles aren't even ranking.

Yeah of course mate. They are perfect if you are building traffic funnels. And besides with Adsense or any other CPC network.

Luckily my addiction to buying the next blog that is going to make it big. Even though the others haven't yet. Now I just work on my assets I have, and they are good domains, and I don't plan to change them. My last domain I bought I think was a spammed expired viagra domain. As I really love the domain name. Going to be an interesting case study, to see if I can turn it around, but I have about 30 domains now, and I'm happy that they cover all my interests, and my niches, that I want to go into long term. I think you have to hold your domains for a lifetime, there is no getting around that.

The thing is, i have 2 niches in mind and even did the research but after seeing my current site not even ranking new articles I'm not sure if the new site will face the same fate.

It would suck to put all the work in only to be indexed but not even show up

Before going with the new blog, I suggest you should try to promote your articles in the SERP movement by doing actions like creating a high quality backlinks and sharing it on social media which is better to do that and wait patiently for some time. Then you should focus on creating a new blog if it still doesn't happen.

Yes, I still do build new sites. But even though I wasn't affected by any of the recent Google updates, I still wonder how long this business model will still work, unless you have an established site with good brand recognition.

First, promote your articles through movements like constructing the best one-way links and sharing them on social media. Wait and reveal progress. If needed, then think about beginning a new blog.
