Which one is better using XSitePro or Wordpress?

I am planning to have content website as a homepage combined with butterfly marketing in a subfolder, but I am still undecisive whehter to use xsitepro or wordpress as a platform to my homepage.

Anyone care to share your thoughts and views?

If yo plan update our site then go with WP. No, actually in any case, go with WP lol. Wp offers soooo many posibilities, so many plugins to choose from, so many themes ... Enough said, wp is the power

Never actually even heard of XsitePro, so yeah Wordpress seems like the way to go.

Use wordpress if you have a strong hosting, because WP is very, very heavy for hosting.
You need PHP and MySQL on your hosting.
Such hostings are usually more exprnsive.

Use XsitePro if you want simple, light sites without MySQL and other heavy staff.

Also you can use Dreamweaver, Nano CMS, Joomla, and other staff to make your websites. The choise is yours.

I use WP for 90% of my sites. Ease of use countless plugins and themes. Plus you can really trick it out if you are savvy about how it works. For quality sites I'd definitely go with WP.

Though I have just looked at Xsitepro and they seem to be the perfect solution to for the 50 KW targeted domains I got sitting around. I bought them almost a year ago for G sniping purposes but it was too tedious to install WP on each.

Quality keeper sites go with WP. Quick yet functional sites I'm gonna try Xsitepro

... mmm Anyone knows how to import a photoshoped template into xsitepro? .. I got it on my machine but haven't used it to make micro niches cause the templates it comes with are not what I would call *ideal* for the things I want to do...

I know how to do my templates in PS and then import them into Dreamweaver to modify/customize them but .. I have no idea how to import that work into Xsitepro to use as a template....

Anyone has a link or can point me in the right direction?

BTW, I totally agree with u sampo1time.... I love WP and all but sometimes I'd like to have an already made template, plugging your content in and launching fast without the need of sql databases ...which is what I saw on the Xsitepro interface....

You mean there are hosting providers out there that don't offer PHP/Mysql support?

no, seriously guys... I don't know of too many hosting companies that don't
offer the latest PHP and MySQL, even Cloudservers and Unique Class-C sites
seem to be all up-to-date.


Bluehost is still offering $3.95 per month for 2 to 3 years and HostMonster
(HM is same company as BH). I use BH because of one simple fact... if you
fax or attach a pic of your id and sent it they will give you SSH access.

I think any ID will work, but don't hold me to that. Anyway, 'nuff said.
