I've been trying to create my own IG scraper using python. I have some knowledge in programming but not an expert, am I just wasting my time?

Yes there are, should I focus on learning the language completely first or is it better to learn through practice?

As far as I know you are not wasting your time, Any amount of time you are putting in automation will yeild great roi. Just remember Big Data Firms hate python automation (bots.).

Hey I forgot to add, you can use Gemini Advance or GTP 4 Trubo for script writing, I've been using them both and they are quite efficient in putting out code. (Im also a budding learner with too high amibition). Just be concise and create code block by block. It's just free advice nothing much.

I also have been doing that lol, and yes I realized quick that instead of asking for a whole program if I go block by block and fucntion by function it works pretty well lol Thanks for the advice mate

Python is detectable, most of the github scripts use that and IG tracks this very easily
