Hi,
Some of you know I test a lot of methods compared to some. Recently I've been wanting to build a drop-servicing website with WooCommerce, I bought the domain and all, even installing WP, but after some thought I went a different route with it all... So the WP D.S. site is on hold. The reason for this is simple, with a site I would have to get my own traffic, but the platforms have a lot of users already posting what they are looking for.
I've been wanting to test freelancing for a long time. Now I built the profiles and plan to bid on projects for a certain number of hours each day; on top of my other business projects. My rate starting out is around $35, but I can probably raise it later after some testimonials.
What is hot for certifications now days? I used to have 3 real estate licenses and certificates, but let a lot of things expire during my time working in a Union job. My Google Ads skill shop certification too expired. I'm in a hurry to create and income stream or two, and now trying to get all the shiny certificates again fast. I can pass most the tests easy with my memorizing of things.
There's a lot of jobs posted on these websites for freelancers, a lot of easily fulfillable services. I created profiles on some 7 platforms and have been busy taking tests on things like my typing skill to get all those little badges/flare. Software I learned by now can save a lot of time, AI is somewhat frowned upon some places (Thanks Google & social platforms..). I feel I got some good software for the job:
1. One is a aggregator for job searches covering 7 platforms (I'm on 6 of them & adding to that - OLD software called A.J.F.)
2. The other is for the biggest platform I know of (Upwork) to automate proposals and pull RSS feed in. The RSS feature was what pushed me to buy it because I was going to setup feeds into Feedly after a negative result testing setting up on my RSS reader LTD. (POUNCERAI)
Here's another thing, inside the PlayStore/IOS appstore there are apps too. I have downloaded a number of them in addition to the website platforms. I only bothered with ones 4 stars+ and 1 Million + Downloads.
This is kind of a Journey thread, but not really. Don't want another Journey thread I wont follow through on. I'm just here sharing some of what I got planned. In the next 2 weeks I should get some feedback across the platforms. Making my service offering posts on the platforms for inbound traffic now.
So there is a old software I bought, I was talking to the owner about service arbitrage on marketplaces where he said you could do $200-400 a day with tools. Though it sounds impressive, he recommended doing video reviews and something else instead. Well, I am here to test thoroughly, no half assed stuff, my profiles are setup. Quite my day job and bought proposal credits on some different platforms. Utilized the free trials on one or 2 places. Going to test 1000 proposals sent and see how many jobs I get/figure out my hourly average profit before I increase my rate down the road. Also, for fast startup in the morning have all your bookmarks run across your bookmark toolbar in Chrome or Firefox so you can have all those tabs up in under a minute.
Don't need to give you the whole formula, if you read from the start then you get an idea of what I'm doing. Lets share tactics. Using the freelancing to buy more e-Commerce inventory. Reinvest in yourself!
