YouTube Monetization Policies

So I've been wanting to make a youtube channel about mental health. I know that for blogs it's an issue because you have to be an authority and so on, but for youtube I have no idea.

I know that talking about mental health issues or eating disorders, not in a medical sense isn't eligible for monetization, but speaking about those topics in a formal, scientific way could get in the way of monetizing that channel?

i'm thinking of having a youtube channel too. focused on the religious niche. and later, even selling something as an affiliate or even a producer to this audience.

Did you move forward with this? I had a similar idea for starting a new YT channel in the religion niche, and I was browsing through BHW when I found your post. I'd be interested in hearing how far along the journey you are.
