Hi All,

I have seen another channel in my niche that is filling 300 - 800 keywords in each of his video descriptions. He is getting a decent amount of views as well. He is doing it for every Video. I am confused if he is getting views because of this spam method. His videos are pretty good and provide good information but still, he is using this strategy.

Now I am also thinking of doing this but I have heard that this is against YouTube Guidelines.

Need Your Expert Advice on this.

don't do it because you could get terminated for spam.
what he is doing is called "keyword stuffing", which is against youtube's community guidelines.

you maybe fine for a while but you could get terminated out of the blue.
i had an experiment channel where I tried these sorts of things in the past and got terminated for spam. I've had people i know that also got terminated for spam in the past, when they did things like keyword stuffing.

you don't need to keyword stuff to get views. you will get views regardless depending on the content and trends.

the person might not even be getting views because of all those extra words he stuffed.
he might even be assuming it helps when it really doesn't, and Is placebo at best.

It's a short-term gain and a long-term loss. If YouTube's algorithm detects keyword stuffing, your videos may be penalized in search rankings, recommendations, and monetization eligibility. In severe cases, your channel could be terminated.
