I was wondering if this would work. There are ways to ping a blog without owning the actual blog. If you were in direct competition with the owner of that blog, could you spam backlinks, list in link farms, set up a continuous ping (once every 1 minute) on their blog, and all the other bad SEO promotion methods to their website to kill the google ranking? I wouldn't know why that wouldn't work, just seeing if anyone knows of any drawbacks from that besides time.

I was about to reveal method that can help you, but naaah...

I'll keep it private. It is dangerous.
It might turn that a competitor can use it against me.

Sure it can be done. But remember what goes around comes around.

Prstorm proxies feature isn't working. Problem to hide the identity. Any suggestion?

Not working for me. I got a copy from BHW. Version 1.0. If I am not wrong, this is the only version around. You have a better version?

Does this mean youre desperate and your abilities can never be at par with your competition?

Yep, the same version here and dunno if there is another, but i didn't tested it on my self to see if shows my ip or the proxy one.

Honestly, not really either. I guess I was mostly curious because I'm spending so much time SEO optimizing my pages, that I don't want someone doing what I described above to me; rendering all my work useless.

thats very simple dear! dont do shit to others and the universal force will do the same

One way you can start to push there pages in to the surps by linking to there pages with a webbased proxy the page and content will be the same and duplicate content rules can force some of there content off the front page.

Some times bad things happen to good people even if you have good karma

Drigger-
I wouldn't even think about doing this. I know you said you were only bringing it up on the off chance someone could do it to you although this seems like a thin reason based on your original post. I don't mind messing with the big G or bending some CPA rules but if you can't beat your competitors fair and square then get out of the game now.

Damn. I've been wanting to do to do this to some of my competition.... But of course I don't want it coming back either or I would be fucked.

I don't care if he actually wants to do it or not, Karma, blah, blah. I want to know if this is really possible. I've heard that you can't screw your competition in G, but I suspect that you can.

Does anyone know for sure whether or not this can be done?

seriously, you'll never make any money killing your competition like this...cuz you'll always be focused on others ahead of you instead of yourself.

stop thinking like a loser

yer as said above if you spend half as much time doing your own SEO creating back links and
building on your own site it will way improve your odds of beating your competition by just trying to google bowl your competition. Plus if your competition is any good they will be monitoring the first few page of results and be watching for any other competition and if you start moving up the ranks they will know its you and start to come after you :-)

I'm not here to defend myself. The answer is "it is possible". Thanks, now I'll go back to my loser-like thinking or whatever it is that I'm doing.

I'm not trying to start a flame war here, but he's not thinking like a loser, he's thinking like any intelligent person would.

"Information is the most valuable commodity that I know of"

It would be to your benefit to know the inner workings of G in order to exploit it. Now, if that means knowing whether or not inbound links can harm your SERPs, shouldn't you not want to know that?

Instead of bashing the OP, maybe someone with an answer to his question should step up. I would also like to know.

There is a discussion going on at Wickedfire right now... A well respected moderator there says that it is possible.
