Should I give up?

Hello guys. As a 26 years old guy, who was doing online business for ~8 years(with pauses), and for the last ~3 years going full time but not achieving success, should i continue or give up on online business.

I'm very afraid that I'll turn 27 soon and I don't have almost no real job experience. I was able to barely live from the earnings for the last years, I was making like 1200$ / a month for some years , but it was not stable. Now I'm not earning almost nothing, trying to rebuild, but this feeling that I don't earn anything good, it's unstable and i'm becoming more and more older and eventually I could end up being 40 years old with no job experience in CV working the worst shitty real life job possible..

I mean, I'm thinking maybe online business is not for me, I should end it up and search where else I could put myself to work towards, i'm still 26 so have time, but when i'll be like 40 years old, it will be too late to have a good career.

What are your opinions guys?

I would ALWAYS make shure that I have a job as an employee and start my business in the meantime. That way you always have the security of a job that steadily pays you when your business doesn't work out.

I could never be a successful businessman. All I hear is “you won’t be rich if you can’t put in the hours and years towards working, time away from your family and major sacrifices” and I’m just like yea you’re right lol I’m good. I like my family, bed and free time too much. Nothing on this green and blue earth beats stability and peace of mind IMO

You can learn a skill, like data science, mlops engineering, or cyber security, these are stable ways to secure your career and you can expect something good from here.

get a day job. use spare time to focus on IM. no shame in that.
in fact this is a good method for the following reason.
eventually you'll see how much day job sucks wage-wise, and it's good motivation to keep trying IM.

in regards to your cv -- you've done IM for 8 years (on and off). surely you can convert that into something on a CV. seo campaigns, ppc campaigns, social media marketing, web design creation, traffic growth and so fourth -- all of these are good skills to list. look @ other marketer resumes to get an idea of what to write. "increased revenue by 200% in 6 months utilizing organic social media growth". "optimized page speed from 6s to 2s, doubling conversion rates". you get the idea.

Guys, but if i'm able to barely cover my expenses to the point where i dont have to work a day job, should i still continue? Because if i earn only to barely cover my life expenses and other people who're at my age are making way more from day to day jobs, i feel like a failure earning same as i'd earn myself in mcdonalds. so im afraid of wasting more years because i'm afraid eventually i'll end up going to real life job at mcdonalds or shopping mall without any career whatsoever.

if you go looking for a job, you will simply put the problem of lack of income aside and face it again when you reach middle age. The reason is that in the corporate world, especially online businesses, there is no money - salaries are low, the market is oversaturated with professionals, even your boss's boss will never make anything close to what you can get by owning your own business. you are lucky that you do not work offline, where nothing can be achieved outside the company. I'm 32 years old and I too failed throughout my 20s, but I'm now financially free thanks to the decision to not give up

Some people of my age are already doctors, IT specialists etc, while i'm nothing in my CV, just "online hustler" with no capital and right now even without any income.

So i'm a true failure in compare with them.

Don't man!, You've come so far that you can't go back. People will pay tens of thousands of dollars to get the knowledge you aquired online, So you're already a a million miles step further and just one step away from achieving success,

You see the problem here is you getting anxious. Relax, concentrate, don't let those thoughts take over the steering wheel. I believe you don't really stand for anything right now, get a creed, be it better future, honorable life or refusing to be mediocre. With that creed it won't matter anymore if you are going to succeed or not, you see success is not the thing you should want.

What you have done is impressive, do you really wanna do business with what you are doing right now? By trying all kinds of things, you start to understand what you like and don't like. Dive deeper into things you like, study them more, don't search for shortcuts.

I believe another thing is you getting anxious over societal pressures. It's about you man, not about them. Do what YOU would want to do, not them.

Thanks for the kind words, but what exactly do you see as an impressive to earn 1200$ / a month, then fail and have no income, when people of my age in my country are getting 2000-3000$ salaries from qualified jobs? I see myself as a failure, really.

And i'm afraid that if i wait and try even more time, i'll turn 30, 35, eventually 40 and more and i'll have no chances to do any career in my real life..And i'll waste all my time , 20s, 30s trying to do online business and not achieving success on it.

In day work, layoff is possible due to AI. Temporarily go to day job with same skill what you learned in last 8 year. So that you will understand how that company attract clients. Don't give up your online business and do it on your spare time.

Is getting a job an option now ? You should get a job for stable earnings and alongwith this work, you can try online earning.

Guys, can i ask you why are you so positive about not giving up? Getting a real life job will cause some troubles, as i'll be exhausted after the work, so i still earn a bit so i better focus full time.

But what if i'll be getting older and older and with no capital, only working for the surviving, not earning anything much, do you still encourage me to not give up?

At least what i can tell is that i really hate 9-5 job, i tried to work as an employee multiple times in my life and i worked for some days maybe, i hated it so much so i left almost every job i took. Anyone who is in a similar situation?

Never give up. Practice and learn more every day and you will be your master soon and you will find your customers.

Making money online can be an unstable way to earn a living, that's why many people advice to have a stable job while doing IM. But one thing is for sure, you definitely shouldn't give up. All the experience you've gathered so far will pay off some day if you don't stop showing up everyday. You won't be lucky everyday, but you need to try everyday in other to get to that lucky day that will change your life forever.

There are so many billionaires who were broke until their 50's.

It's just a part of entrepreneurship/online money. If you have to work a job that provides enough stability to get you by so be it.

Some solid advice is to focus on building something meaningful in your "in-person" career and have the same objective for online $$$ when you get home from work.

Quit your "in-person" career when your online income justifies it or never quit.

Bro just get a job and be positive about it. Internet Marketing might never make you rich. I wasted years of my life trying to make money and now I am broke and without career prospects.
If you can't make money on the weekends, you can't make it full time.
A 9-5 job can make you way more money than the internet.
Just change your mindset about offline work, be positive, grateful and proactive.
