Hey there people, so in the past 2 years i've been handling websites with niche such as porn or casino. Finally i got a chance to work for soemthing white, which is a vacation niche. Now i got a brand new website and wondering what is the best strategy for a fresh website such as this:
1. Should i go with the usual media link building form nation-wide news website in an article with the same niche?
2. Should i go with social recognition first since this is a brand new website?
3. etc.

I'm also going for the organic ways to gain backlink and on page optimization, but kinda wondering what can i do with the paid strategy such as buying backlink or social signal service. Any opinion would be awesome, thanks!

Yeah, you should go for local travel niche sites for your vacation business because those will be much help rather than news sites.

You can always build social media pages from side to side.

Also, make sure to diversify your backlink portfolio, don't build the same links again and again.

For on page guidance, on BHW there are tons of guides for that, you should take a look at them.

Do both, wouldn't hurt at all.
Why choose one over the other, when both are actually important and would play a huge role in the success of your website. Social media traffic is just as big as SEO and could even be more profitable and easier to scale sometimes.

1. Start by getting links from big news sites that match your topic. It helps to boost your site's credibility.
2. Get people to notice you on social media first. It's like introducing yourself to a crowd.
3. Focus on making good stuff and talking to people. Paid stuff can wait till you've got a solid base.

The niche might vary the process will be the same for all the niches Mr @Dragoslot

As a fresh website, you have to focus on both backlinks and Social promotions and a main thing you have to provide quality articles on your site

For a brand new website, focusing on white hat SEO tactics is essential for building a solid foundation and long-term success. Here are some effective white hat SEO tactics to consider:

  1. Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant keywords and phrases that your target audience is searching for. Use tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or Ahrefs to discover high-volume, low-competition keywords.
  2. On-Page Optimization: Optimize your website's on-page elements, including title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and image alt text, to include your target keywords naturally. Ensure your content is well-structured, informative, and valuable to users.
  3. High-Quality Content Creation: Focus on creating high-quality, original content that provides value to your audience. Publish blog posts, articles, guides, videos, and other formats that address your audience's needs, interests, and pain points.
  4. Mobile Optimization: Ensure your website is mobile-friendly and provides a seamless user experience across all devices. Google prioritizes mobile-friendly websites in its search results, so optimizing for mobile is crucial.
  5. Website Speed and Performance: Improve your website's speed and performance by optimizing images, minifying CSS and JavaScript files, leveraging browser caching, and utilizing content delivery networks (CDNs). A fast-loading website enhances user experience and can positively impact search rankings.

I would recommend going on google trends to find trending questions within the niche and then either post on tiktoks about them or publish long form articles ranking for the long tail keywords until your site is out of sandbox.

Hey Mate: Start with Social Media Marketing - FB, Linkedin, Pinterest, Instagram etc as Major Focus along with Couple High Quality Guest Post Sites.

When the website gains authority in next 2-3 months, you can start link building to pump the ranking in Google.

For a new website, over optimization / aggressive link building is not good.

Cheers,
Steve

Yes, social recognition for a brand-new website will help you. But I will not recommend having links from news sites.

Building backlinks is important, but quality matters more than quantity. Forget those spammy nation-wide news link farms. Focus on getting natural links from relevant travel blogs, local publications in your focus areas, or websites that target similar vacation demographics. Building a strong social media presence can definitely help. Post beautiful, engaging content showcasing your vacation destinations. Run contests or giveaways to boost engagement. Respond to comments and questions to build trust and a community. Absolutely steer clear of buying backlinks or social signals. It's a black hat tactic that can seriously hurt your website in the long run. Focus on organic growth and building a good reputation. Consider paid advertising options like targeted social media ads or pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to drive traffic. Create high-quality, informative, and engaging content (think blog posts, destination guides, travel tips) that caters to your target audience's needs. This will not only attract visitors but also encourage organic backlinks from other sites.

Hey,

So I firstly would recommend building out some quality content (if you do not already have it)

Then when it comes to link building, prioritize quality over quantity. This is especially true for a new domain as a building too much too fast could run you into problems. Quality in this sense would be relevant domains with strong metrics (positive/stable traffic trend, ranking for relevant keywords, natural outbound ratio)and that produce quality content.

Additionally, I would advise that once things pick up you begin Journalist Outreach and try to build HARO-style links. For this, I would recommend checking out Connectively, Featured, and Qwoted.

Also, I would advise you against using black hat techniques, not only is it risky for the domain now but it is likely also to be an issue in the long run. Also, I would say it's not worth the risk, especially since you mentioned it's a new client and your first time in this type of niche.

To provide your brand with the necessary visibility and engagement, it is advisable to begin with social recognition. However, when it comes to link building, it is more effective to aim for features in travel blogs, vacation review sites, and local tourism boards rather than solely targeting nationwide news websites. By focusing on these niche-specific platforms, you will be able to attract targeted traffic to your brand.

Just get good websites to talk about your vacation site, be friends on social media, better don't buy fake popularity and keep it real mostly

Backlinks are the only factor that contributes half of the ranking percent. So focus on the backlinks and good quality content.

Which approach you have to choose also depends on your budget. So, you need to mention your budget as well.
