The site suddenly ranked is weird.

This is new technique which i saw on UK and German search engine and is same and all the same links are on top keywords in pharma and gambling industry

I didn't take a look on this site, but do the very same. It's just referal cloaking - someone said, it's done by JS, I would normaly do it on server side, cause it's more difficult to detect, but it's a kind of usual practice to only get users actually coming from google or bing. The rest tends to be bot traffic, the referral can be faked as well, but you don't really see bots doing it.
Basicly it looks into your http header, finds out if you're coming from google - if not, show 200 response, else throw 301 header to landing page.
There are normally other layers like IP filtering, user agent of cause, browser language and partly even geolocation by IP. You might loose a bit of vallid traffic but also increase the site's lifetime.
