With enterprise now apparently snapping up Stablecoin like nobodies business, such as the ‘Bitcoin whales’, and CBDCs on the horizon, seems some people are questioning what the fate of crypto will be or what the actual purpose of it was all along.
Truth is, the average invester or trader doesn’t really have the first clue about what drives crypto prices unlike the far more arbitrary factors involved in traditional financial markets.
Neither has it ever really culminated in to becoming the means to anti-establisment financial freedom that maringalised societies yearned for and what for a long time it was marketed to be - instead we have seen that Crypto now only really works in regulated markets, anywhere else just becomes a hotbed for scandels and fraud. Is that an inevitable result of greed or deliberately encouraged card-decking to ensure greater control over cryptocurrency? Possibly both?
Furthermore, nations have partially or even completely banned cryptocurrencies when and where they choose. Neither is there any actual no privacy in any cryptocurrency which hasn’t already been essentially banned or rendered unusable such as Monero. Truth is there are private and public sector cyberinvestigation departments who specialise and use software to trace and de-anonymise crypto transactions amd do so really well.
I had all this on mind, as I wondered what the purpose of Crypto was all along. Why the governments didn’t ban them from the get-go when, as they have demonstrated, they were able to all along….
and then I came across https://unlimitedhangout.com/2023/12/investigative-reports/as-cbdcs-roll-out-elite-backed-digital-payment-systems-vie-to-build-the-global-payment-standard/ article that I think might have helped answer many questions:
Furthermore
TL;DR
So basically, if this is correct, crypto was invented as a prototype and test dummy to gradually help ease the public in to the idea of digital currencies and fine-tune the technologies invovled whilst minimising any financial or legal risks - instead allowing an over-enthusiastic but unwitting public to do most of the testing and heavy-lifting for them under the guys of ‘open-source’ until the time was bullish enough to buy up crypto in sums only big finance can, and assimilate them, eventually in exchange for the implementation of the real motive and agenda - a fully digital and inter-operable regulated digital currency ie the CBDC.
Is it time for Crypto and Privacy enthusiasts to admit they might have just fell for the biggest government/elite propoganda since Rothschild supposedly convinced major market players to sell their shares in the Napoleonic wars??
Possibly ever?

CBDCs, even though a widespread CBDC rollout could theoretically jeopardize their future, forces speculation as to whether cryptocurrencies were developed as a kind of precursor to, or testing ground for, CBDCs, where the technologies needed for a central bank-issued digital currency could first be tested out and perfected in the private sector before coming under the complete dominion of central banks.
Furthermore
Crypto players’ elaborate marketing tactics and philanthropic efforts either show a false good will or benevolence that obfuscates their true interest in CBDCs, or otherwise signal their alignment with the political class’ goals.
Indeed, Stellar, Ethereum, and Ripple’s elite connections, including the World Economic Forum (WEF), the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and others, are extensive. Ripple Co-Founder Chris Larsen, for starters, is a https://www.weforum.org/agenda/authors/chris-larsen/, and prominent Ripple leaders, including https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNTS1u7Jvag, have made Davos appearances.
