I made a webapp that downloads instagram posts from a profile sorted by likes.
how much should I charge? I'm thinking it should be per credits, the more you pay the more you can use type of deal.
I'm hosting it on google cloud on the free tier right now. how much hosting costs should I expect?

yea for those you paste the link of the post you want to download and download one post, on mine you enter the profile you want to download from and download as many posts as you want sorted by most liked.

If you type profile downloader the first inflact site can do that also very well plus multiple other things. I think if you want to move towards selling something to users you can try making something that inflact makes

It depends on:
1. How well it works
2. How appealing your UI/UX is
3. How good your copywriting is

Look at a service like Apify. Totally basic web scraping service that anyone with 1/2 a gram of python knowledge could accomplish, but absolutely exorbidant prices. This is because their packaging, UI/UX, and copywriting are superior. Their basic plan is $45/mo.

It doesn't matter if there are other free services out there that so the same thing. Your goal is to be first in the mind of the prospect, not to be the best objectively or most fairly priced.

yea true but that is a paid feature too, and they charge a lot($84/ month for the downloader), I was thinking I could charge less, compete on price that way, then move onto created other features. I feel like downloading all the posts from a profile is the feature people would want most

thanks man, I agree with you, right now I just want to target people who just so happen to need the downloading tool, maybe do more branding and marketing after that

No it's a specific feature but yeah people might require it as people like tk repost videos without giving credit to the og poster.

So maybe Targeting creators is a good way

You could charge per profile you download with credits or something
