AutoBlogged Procressing Old Content - How To Get New Content

After battling with WPRobot for a week and watching my traffic, and revenue, decrease significantly I have switched to AutoBlogged.

It seems to be working alright. I would like to switch back to WPRobot at some point but I can afford to lose the momentum I had going.

Here is the problem I am running in to with AutoBlogged though. I have a feed to collect from YouTube but it is grabbing a bunch of old videos, like back to 2007. I want to have it collect based on current videos not stuff that will land in the archives.

Sure I can edit the Source Feed to discard the original post date that YouTube has but only fixes the appearance on my site, not the fact that the video is 2 years old.

Any ideas?

Just wondering if anyone has successfully gotten AutoBlogged to grab content that is newer rather than older?

Is it a setting I am missing or do I just need to wait for it to get through the old stuff to get to the new stuff?

It grabs everything (or at least what you told it should grab in the settings of the feed) in the feed, thus if it dates back to 2007 that means that the feed is not updated to 2010. You can try using a very popular feed just for the sake of experimenting and check the dates there against what the plugins posts on your blog.

That is a good idea. I will give that a try. I wish I could get WPRobot working again. I certainly preferred that for functionality and the comments gathering.

That is the problem; man I would not take that risk if I were you.

If you edit the feed on autoblogged, you will see the 2nd catagory of "feed processing." Double check what you have selected under "post processing."

The second option is "only include the first X posts." That would give you only new content.
