How to get them, where to get them, how does it work?

But I think he's buying newly released coins, not doing anything related to staking/farming/airdrops or whatever.

I haven't done any research yet, so I have nothing meaningful to share. But my research consists of Youtube, Google, Reddit and BHW. So those are available to all

- join the discord server of projects that don't have a token
- use their testnet / beta

In the end all these developing projects reward their testers / community with tokens. They "airdrop" to all the participants

Hard to tell. Depends on the project. For testnets it's all free, you just need time. For restaking, well you have to lock in assets. Everything is variable

New crypto projects usually give out free coins known as airdrops. They do thisto build a community.

During their development stages, they give users different tasks to carry out. The tasks vary, some could be simply filling out forms while others could be testing out their apps and capabilities of said apps. Some would even ask you to spend certain amount of money.

In return, they give out some of their coins at launch to qualifying users.

There are lots of projects promoting their airdrops tasks and activities on Twitter.
