Do you Clone app jailbreak? If yes how many time on a device without getting caught ?

We are currently building our 2nd tiktok farm , I recommend you to use only phones and a custom appium solutions for uploading videos, aging , account creation etc .

Does Appium OR Calabash OR Java needs rooting or jailbreaking for automating tests on a mobile app(iOS)?



I am new to mobile automation space. My customer has a requirement that the Mobile automation solution for IOS should not be dependent jailbreaking(ios) devices.

I am currently looking at Appium or Calabash or Java .
I Will work with XCtest.

I am not sure whether these tools fit the above requirement.

Also please let me know if there are any other tool which will fit in my requirement

We use real devices, all the same andriod. Real device & real sim cards.

Using our own customer autoxjs scripts to help automate some actions as we're running at "scale".

We do run a smaller IOS farm, however have yet to add any automations, so still a manual process however with your remote access software and server, our VA's are able to connect and control each phone remotely.

Go for real devices. Emulators don't work well for TikTok. There were many cases here in BHW people telling they are receiving 0 views when uploading from Emulator.

Which emulators did you try in the past?
