F*ck Gas Prices!

All I can hope is that the reason we are not using our own oil is because we would rather leach it out of other countries first. This will keep our supplies around longer. We will also never have to fully depend on any country if they finally decide to cut us off.

I am also confused about the pricing issue right now. Supply is not pushing the price up, it is the speculators. This is kind of like the housing market, but with out the demand help to push it. Will this be a very short bubble blowing. I hope so. But can it actually crash like the housing market?

Man I would love to see oil crash and hit $50.00 a barrel.

Yeah, that's what I don't get about this all...I keep hearing that the American demand for oil has dropped a lot over the years, but the prices aren't changing. Even if you throw in the oil demands from China and India as they grow, I don't see how the hell is affects what we are charged here in US or where ever...

Guess I should have took an economics class instead of reading Newsweek and acting like a water cooler expert :) I really hate being untaught in these issues.

I also read that the oil companies had insisted that this oil crisis would end as quickly as it hit...still waiting...

Watching my local gas prices near $4.60...and higher everyday....

A gallon of milk here costs over $7...it's amazing...it was only half that price about a year ago

Cap'n Crunch has left for sea, I haven't ate a bowl of cereal in forever!

I like to tell people I am running for president .

No matter what party they say they are for, all say they would vote for me.

1) I say I promise to lower gas price before my second year or I will resign.

2)I would do a Presidential executive order to lifting the ban on drilling .

3)I would do a Presidential executive order lifting the ban on oil refineries.

4)I would do a Presidential executive order halt oil on future market .

5)I would fund 200 hydrogen fueling station in the united states
to jump start the market for hydrogen cars. Then it would be turn over to private companies after 2 years .

A Presidential executive was just done to allow the border fence to be finish to wave any
environmental laws. So it a useful tool the President .All U.S. Presidents have issued executive orders since 1789 ...

I remember those days when I was living in Holland; going to the office at 100 mph and someone on your tail blinking his lights indicating they want to pass you. Than again, the company was paying my gas. Here in California I have to pay to get my A*s to work at 65 mph because they pulled me over several times for speeding. It is a big joke LOL Here I tell people stop complaining about the gas prices, because I know what people pay in Europe (Holland). At least at the moment the gas prices are going down again, but as always, one week it goes down $0.03 and the next week they raise the price with $0.09. So who knows what's going on

I'm with you right up to No. 5!

Impractical and a waste of money.

With 200 hydrogen stations, there would be one station for every roughly every 18,000 square miles whic means that folks might have t drive as much as 500 miles to fill up.

I would rather see this done without Executive Orders, each of which represents an erosion of our civil rights.

Soon we wont even be able to purchase oil from overseas if people keep pulling away from the dollar..
