Split journey or make it cool with progress bars (nuts)

They should split the journey subforum into subsections like newbie and pro. or add some feature to show progress and last update. That should be at the top. It should also say how much experience and success they had in the past.

Then these stats should be somewhere before opening thread. It would save a ton of time.

stats can be faked. so i dont know how much extra work the staff would need to put in in order to make sure all journey threads are real.

First, you will need at least 1 new mod/admin to follow up what literally 100s of people do on daily basis, that alone is huge task.

That is all on people starting JV if they want to update and make a journey from it.

You can still do some stuff to let us sort by alleged succees.

Stats can be faked. But I highly doubt verification with affiliate manager wouldn't work.

That'd work for affiliate. Or ebay.

But with eBay they'd out their username. Hehe

I'm only thinking of marking some threads. Not all... I wasn't too explicit probably. The first post of mine looks chaotic.

I was involved in frontend development where you can check, uncheck, disable, enable tons of features on user request.

BHW news does something but that doesn't tell you numbers easily.

To add to this, whilst I like the idea to gamify the experience somewhat, it would be hard to define who's a newbie and who's a pro without insulting some members. I can already see some people demanding that we move their thread to the pro section because they are clearly a pro. In some cases, they'd even be right as forum experience doesn't equate to IM experience.
