AI GF apps still profitable? Or oversaturated?

Hey guys I worked quite a bit on an AI girlfriend app last summer when those things were brand new to a world. I found a good source model service that seemed quite good for my purposes, that seemed to produce better results compared to many GF's on the play stores, however I had to pause due to external circumstances. So I'm wondering, if anyone here has used or even made anything like this, and share their story, and let me know on their opinion on how the market is doing now, and if its worth putting in the effort to continue building something like this anymore.

Still profitable, but you need to have a really good one. Only a handful of those apps are actually really high quality.

Yeah some of those really seem like they got full teams of people working on them, with animations, picture sending and voice and stuff. Mine was less sophisticated.

This method is still profitable. Those down bad people will come to you but only when your model is good and here is another tip: the videos i watched on youtube showed that your model should also provide those other types of services aswell

Yep, they are still profitable if you know how to make a good one. I can help with the photorealistic images if you need. I have a few more ideas which will make the app better.

Yes I have seen that the SD photorealism is insanely advanced now. I'd definitely be interested in hearing your opinion on what makes an AI app good or bad too Feel free to PM if you'd like as well

-Try also to keep your cost as low as possible while providing greater quality.
-AI chatting could also be self-hosted; there are models for it; the newest Google one should be more than enough (it needs to be tested though if it's more efficient than ChatGpt tokens, for example).
-Funnel people from different platforms; you could also use a nice-looking modern landing page as a showcase for your funnel.
-For VoiceLines, find a good Fiverr VA. Try to get a good one with decent quality and go for bulk orders to reduce costs. Also, when provided with enough data, you could just automate voiceline generation and I did something similiar to troll a friend. It works really well, but you need a lot of data.
-I would say in the app itself, do not overdo it with the ads and keep a balance with in-game currency; it works a lot better in most games I saw than just pumping ads after ads.
That's just my 50 cents.

By the newest google one you mean Gemini? I was considering character creation AI services as opposed to raw models because they have some nice features already in place sometimes, but I'm still looking for one without restriction on erotic language.
