I left a payment error on my Facebook account.
- When I paid them, my campaign spent over $500 in 3 minutes, while I had a daily budget of $1000

Did you forget to pay fb?

That's not really a bad thing, is it? My guess is that distribution was already in placed until campaign was put on pause for payment error and so when you made the payment, it just reloaded the ad distribution.

There are 2 reasons for payment errors
- The amount of money in your bank is not enough to pay Facebook's final bill
- The manager has set a spending limit for that advertising account (here $500) and the account has spent $500 and is automatically stopped.
Please check

It's not that FB is faulty
To avoid this problem again, you should set a spending limit

There isn't enough money in your bank to pay your final Facebook bill, or someone has set a spending limit on that ad account

Facebook distribution sometimes fails, I spent $1500 in just 10 minutes.
There was also a time when CPM only cost $0.005
But only occasionally

You should check the limit again and reset it. Try to remember to pay FB otherwise your bid will increase and a number of restrictions, the highest will be locked by FB
