I can take a side in this as I have no experience with paid adult traffic but I know guys who make good money. I don't know what network they use as they won't reveal it.

Hello, I got scammed by exoclick (or their advertisers) with traffic-generators about 2 years ago. To track the performance of my campaigns I used my own traffic-tracking system and saw ... interesting activities.

About 90% of their PayPerClick traffic came from Not-Private-IPs (a sign of proxy server usage) which has a bounce-rate of 95%. The traffic has shown no mouse-activity despite about 50% of the traffic came from Desktop-Users.

So ... the facts are clear. But I cannot tell who exactly scammed me, in other words who send me this kind of traffic. Exoclick could be neutral, while advertisers have an interest in sending as many banner clicks as possible to optimize their revenue. I guess, that Exoclick does not have proper anti-cheat mechanisms in place, while making their financial share from every single click and view which is delivered by fake-traffic-networks run by advertisers. I think this brings it on the point.

Sure, everybody could setup an adult-tube-website like xvideos and such but who pays for the insane high storage and traffic costs? At the end of the day, you gonna lose your money on that side.

For those who don't know, TrafficJunky is the advertising platform that serves ads for big porn tube sites like Pornhub.

Do not, under any circumstances, waste your money on this platform. It's a scam. They have a few cash cow advertisers with massive advertising budgets who have already figured out which ad positions and keywords are profitable and they are not willing to share.

TrafficJunky is actively protecting their profitable ad inventory for these huge advertisers and they will reject your campaign if you try to tread on profitable ad positions and/or keywords. If you create a campaign and they accept it, it's only because the ad positions and/or keywords you are trying to advertise on are known to not be profitable.

If you try to start a campaign targeting profitable ad positions and/or keywords, they will either reject your campaign or block you from being able to select sources (websites) during the last step of the campaign creation process. If you ask for support, they will reply by email telling you that you have to figure out on your own why your campaign is being rejected or is unable to be created in full. If you push it further, they will place your account under investigation and find a way to claim that you have breached their terms of service. At this point your account will be permanently suspended.

TrafficJunky exists solely to serve the few cash cow advertisers who currently have such massive budgets that they can buy all of their profitable ad inventory. They only allow smaller advertisers to use their platform in an effort to monetize their remaining unprofitable advertising space that their current advertisers don't want.

You've been warned. Take your adult marketing budget elsewhere.

From my experience, its kind of true, sometimes you land on good traffic but most of time I heard the same kind of stories.
