It is an art which you will learn with trial. Look for such comments already present and try to mimic their writing style.

Leave a meaningful comment that aligns perfectly with whatever is being discussed. Don't be overly promotional. Ensure that this comment doesn't have any link in it. Leave it for a week or two weeks. After it must have fallowed, you come back and edit it and add your link.

This works many times.

It is quite hard to post links on reddit, lost multiple accounts for doing that.

you need to sound as authentic as possible and not like a salesman. if you're trying to get them to buy a product, make it sound like you bought it and it worked well for you, then link to it.
