Can DMs lead to follow blocks?

I have been struggling with following users since November of last year and I have exhausted all avenues as to what could be the issue apart from DMs sent

In your opinion can spam DMs result in a follow block? I assumed each tool got blocked for each tools behaviour, so a follow block would result in too many follows. But I never imagined too many spam Dms could result in a block on following users. Could this be the reason?

i don't think it's the actions in total as I can run the like tool no issue with no blocks but when it comes to following im flagged. I was just wondering if any one has experience with instagram marking direct messages as spam and then punishing certain tools like following users

Sending DMs, especially if their intent seems spammy to IG will definitely affect your account trust score.
And a low account trust score, will affect how faster you would get blocked when running other tools.

thats my logic of thinking currently, it's the only thing I have not really paid enough attention to and seems logical now as I have spammed a lot in DMs

The best approach I can think of is to separate them:
- Use some accounts to spam the DMs.

And use some other accounts without sending any DMs.

its the way I make my money so an account sending no DMs would be a waste to do, it would have no purpose really. My first message is a cold call and then second message is usually when the link is sent to convert

so whats the remedy here? unsend all previous dms?
build a trust score then spam slower?

Or do you want to follow people first and then DM them?

yes I DM new followers, not so much random people

so the question is can this spam still be the issue even if its to new followers and not random users

I would say it depends on the content of the DM Itself. If it seems spammy, it might reduce your account trust score.
Especially if some users report your DMs.

Yes i tryed doing a bunch of dms end up being blocked. After some time the account get back to work but not for much time
