What I am thinking is they have uploaded many videos in the past but deleted them and now have only one on their channel. Those old videos they have gave you that much of a subscriber count. I have seen many youtube channels they will delete their existing videos after a few months.

You should improve the quality of content and images to get good views. The more views a video has, the easier it will be to make money with adsense.

there are multiple ways to do that, like changing the title, muting certain parts of the movie etc. There was someone who also gave a detailed explanation of how to do that.
