by now you shld noe that google are abt to release their new version search engine.

will this search engine change the way/factors of rankings?

as far as i know google is now ranking different sites higher than before.

Will it affect white hatters who had done the hard work?

did the dance already happen? I have not noticed any changes. but I expect that white hat people will have a solid improvement on their sites

are you sure that ip is correct for google caffeine? I'm getting the same results

i think matt cutts said they took it down on the one data center till the launch but im not sure.

previously you got a 33% hitrate of actually using the caffeine algo, not sure if that has changed or the DS has caught on that its being abused by us :P

ive seen a definite change in some of my sites... but im guessing the holiday season is definitely affecting traffic... i have not delved into rankings just yet as i am waiting also for the january hit...

Wow, I didn't even know google was changing anything. Where have I been?

did anybody have usual results this evening, I'm ranking #1 for a ton of keywords that as of last month I was lower:
I got this one site, 90 key word phrases hit #1, 169 key word phrases in the top 5 ... what the heck, I did nothing and I got all this, must be my lucky day

Yes google is changing their ENGINES.
will be launching soon. it can be a nightmare or a dream come true.
for searching it is way faster.
but for site owners i am sure alot of thgs would be chnaging.

matt (Google Guy) recently said that pageranks are not gonna affect searches anymore.
maybe that can be implemented.
It is good to take 15mins a day to read his blog.
it helps you to be on track. :0

caffeine engines are not started yet. :p

what you are noticing now is GOOGLE DANCE.

today I looked at 3 more sites, I have notice a change... I'm still waiting to the 5th to run my ranking reports but it looks like it's started...

best of luck guys, the rules have changed again ( I think )

only thg i know for now. feeds are ranking better than youtube and etc. so authority sites maybe changing too.. madness.

Hello,

Google Caffeine is a reboot of the search engine. Before simply launch new changes within the present system, Google has choose to totally retool the search engine with a objective of achieving better speed, improved indexing a extra applicable search results.

I was lead to believe the caffine update has been rolled out already. Matt Cutts said they were holding off till after Xmas, so I would assume it is what is causing the less static serps a lot of people have been noticing. The update was described as a complete rework which will make the engine more adaptable and easier to modify in the future. I think this basically means so they can react to web spam techniques quicker without completely rewriting the algorithms. Probably some kind of modular approach beyond all of us. Their main aim from our point of view will be to stop forum and blog commenting spam and to stop people who run really slow websites that pull affiliate api's everytime someone browses the site or runs 100 wordpress domains, each with 20 plugins installed.
