Do Ebay check Bank age and balance

Hi, do Ebay check the provided bank and card account age, balance and/or transaction history in order to contribute to seller risk scores?

Is this even possible for them to do?

No. EBay can not do this. The only way they can this in the uk is with a credit check.
Other places I am not sure about.

ebay dost not check bank account details, however, they do flag certain banks to be higher in risk than the other banks. Normally these higher risk banks are the online only banks.

No they don't. They just don't trust some banks so they flag them.

You can imagine you provided them with the bank details to withdraw or deposit money into.
Other than some fancy tools where you give Access to, for example, a FinTech, which aggregates your Bank Information. At this point, the regulation of PSD 2 comes into the game.
Which allows/requires banks to open the Access (On your behalf) via API to another company.

Since eBay is just booking, there is nothing other than the initiation of withdrawing your Money from eBay.
