Do not accept Bitcoin for small transactions like under $50.

The Bitcoin network was really congested last Sunday as I wanted to send a transaction and the fees were 58 USD so I dropped it.

I think the main issue with Coinbase is that they don't show the correct fee your customer needs to pay and the funds are basically lost in that case.. they also don't provide much information.. If I am not mistaken then @Cloutsy got banned for a similar issue back in the day:

So here we are, 2 months later. I reopened the payment 2-3 more times since, and it never cleared. Then yesterday I reopened it again, and I received the BTC within 30 minutes.

So if anyone gets into this kinda mess, I guess just keep re-opening the payment every couple of days, and eventually it will, probably, hopefully, arrive

Thats why I prefer to accept USDT [TRC20 network] , never had such problems

Yeah, I prefer it for transactions too. Cheap, fast, stable.

But unfortunately it's been dead price-wise for a long time now. Can't stake it either.

Don't knock LTC bro. It's still one of the oldest cryptos, still in the Top 25. Works well, fast, low fees. It's better for (micro)transactions than most other cryptos.

Sure, the price is stagnant. But that can easily change, and quickly too.
