I have a question regarding indexing and SEO strategy, I have a newly established website that is for a business that I manage, let’s just say it’s called “BUSINESS FOR MY LOVELY DOG LLC”.

The point is that the business name is on a low competition and low search volume and my effort for this website is just about indexing the homepage.

Will this effort be enough to have my website be ranked on such keyword Business for my lovely dog LLC? Or is there still need to be some backlinking work to make this work?

it's hard to say with google having so many filters and rules for all sorts of niches, types of websites and whatnot...

If the brand is really unique and the competition low you should rank on page 1 without much action. But if this doesn't happen you need to backlink the crap out of your website to build up its authority... And you might still need social signals, brand awareness and all that crap. It's really hard to say what google thinks, just index it and see what happens :)

If your keyword has little search and competition and being the name of a company it is probably simple but it doesn't make much sense to just do that because clearly no one searches for you like that because they don't know you.

A broader strategy needs to be integrated, but it is a good start.

Pretty much like any other keyword, if no one is trying to rank, mentioning the keyword/brand name,
Then you'll rank for it just by getting the domain indexed,

If it's just your unique brand name that no one is not mentioning (yet) with literally no competition, you'll rank in no time,
If you're referring to an EMD, it depends on the keyword difficulty, they still do a decent work in easy keywords for sure

You can try doing some basic SEO work like optimize your On-Page , Quality content , local SEO , Basic backlinking and create

and optimize your Google business...

Indexing your homepage is an important first step. To improve your website's SEO strategy that includes content optimization, Local SEO , backlink building

If Google News is approved for the website, then the post will get indexed easily and quickly

If your keyword competition is low, your initial effort of indexing the homepage may be sufficient. Over time, you can assess the need and build backlinks and do the needful

Getting your homepage on Google is a good beginning, but to rank better for "Business for my lovely dog LLC," you might need some quality links and a few improvements on your website

Don't rest on indexing alone. Start building a solid backlink profile with local directories and relevant industry sites to boost credibility.

Thank you for all the answers, I maybe too late to explore this, SEO just has been out of reach for me before

Indexing alone is not always sufficient to achieve high rankings for brand keywords in search engine results. While indexing ensures that your website's pages are included in search engine databases and are eligible to appear in search results.

And Yes, search engines consider the authority and credibility of your website when determining rankings.
