Is it worth learning SEO

I mean, it really depends on you.

Are you passionate about it and want to make it a career? Then yes, by all means learn everything you can.

Do you want to grow an offline company? Then learn enough to know the basics and what to look out for in scammers, and then outsource the rest.

Is it worth learning SEO or just paying someone to do it for you, if so what are the options. Can it be outsourced to cheaper, non western countries ?

Already SEO market is devalued by sellers due to huge competition & lowering the prices using tools. If you get cheapest service then end up your site rankings. Better learn & do. Else go with Quality over cheap service.

For me this is like asking: "It's worth learning Plumbing or just paying someone to do it for you?"

It depends if you are eager to end with the Google's shit all over your face.

It's hard to overestimate the power of SEO in the field of internet marketing. I wish I would know SEO on top-level in order to become a millionaire, joining countless affiliate programs.
Furthermore, having my own online business, I could say that it's impossible to outsource your SEO campaign. For years, I am unable to find a SEO agency with a guarantee of a result. They only want to sell you back-links, but I am a marketer and I need ranking and selling, and back-links are not my aim.

It depends on the next big google update. At the moment a lot of good websites are affected by last year's update so even experienced SEOs are turning to other sources of traffic.

Common sense webmaster tips, and online marketing ideas for traffic generation. Nah, totally dead, who wants to learn those!? lol ;)

This will depend on you. But I think if possible, you should learn at least the basics because that makes you more proactive

Yes , but you would have to be updated every month with knowledge for algo and practice which is time consuming so far

It's worth it if you're attempting to do SEO for yourself or even locally.

Buying packages should be done in a way to add to an already existing set of backlinks for a website.

If you want to be a affiliate or online marketer or want to earn with it then it's worth learning. If you are a developer or business owner then you can learn its basics to stay aligned with the SEO professional for your website. SEO is not one time work so you will have to hire someone if you don't have much time.

If you learn it well, you can make hell lot of money. It will help you save money for own projects as well.

Learning Search Engine Optimization (SEO) can be a valuable skill, especially if you're interested in digital marketing, content creation, or web development.
However, whether learning SEO is worth it for you depends on your specific goals and interests. If you're interested in digital marketing, content creation, or web development, learning SEO can be a valuable addition to your skillset. If you're not interested in these areas, it may not be as relevant to you.
