Monday is the google SERP update day

I just wanted to know if anyone is sharing the same experience as me.

Through the week my SERP rankings in google just goes a bit up and down, but only with a few results up and down.

But on mondays it is allways a big change in my google SERP rankings.
This counts for all the sites I am working on.

But is this just a coincidence or does it happen to everyone?

Depends on your keyword if it is higly competative there would be changes in SERP every day... And if it s a dead keyword with like 100 searches/month alot of sites are sitting in the same positions for like months on end

Hmm maybe since today my site fell out of Page 1 to not even ranking for a keyword considered "don't waste your time" by SEnuke.

Noticed more wobbling since the caffine update but not particuarly on a Monday.

Maybe it just seems like mondays are important because Google takes the weekend off

Im with J0kerz on this one - everyday is a change for me - especially if i work on link building, etc.
Maybe you notice changes on monday cos you work on the sites over the weekend?

Hey it is possible. Yesterday. Sunday I was on page 3 at the bottom for one of my keywords and Monday(today) I discovered I was on 2nd page, like rising 10 positions. Something is going on for sure.

serps update everyday i believe,don't think google will fix any particular day for it.

Since the recent PR update a few weeks ago I've noticed much more shuffling of the first few pages of google. Entire groups of sites on pages 3-4 are being shoved to page 2, then some of those to page 1, then the next day they're gone. I suppose this is google's way of trying out how web surfers respond to different listings in order to judge the most relevant ones.

I track my ranking pretty much everyday to see the movement of my sites. And yes, for me, they move everyday. And for some sites, A LOT.

I noticed some very nice changes, i moved up to #1 were i was #3 in the serps. But now i only see google dance up down will wait till it settles (hopefully)

In IM, yes I would agree with you.

But in every aspect in our life, GOOGLE has done a very tremendous job changing the world and the way we live today. No one who lived 50 years ago would ever imagine how easy it is to get the information like we do today.

A lot of people would agree that Google has saved a us in many ways. Go ask those who have the experience of ALMOST BEING SCAMMED for example. By typing the name of products or the name of scammers in Google, we'll know every single information about them in a matter of minutes. Just imagine how we could do that 20 years ago.

But again, as we all are IMers, we tend and always think that Google sucks big time!
