Need good blogging platform...

Hey guys....I don't have a ton of cash to buy another domain for an upcoming project nor for hosting...

I am looking for a good blogging platform I can use that's free...that has good google authority for ranking, and that I can make unlimited subdomains(for each new post I make).... with ie...www.mysite.blogplatform.com/subdomain

I saw wordpress.com but they dont like advertising and my blog posts will reference my presell page for a ebook product I'm marketing...

Any ideas...

Why do you need to create a new subdomain website if you can just create a NEW ONE using blogspot?

The fact that you sign up with them is basically creating a SUBDOMAIN already with them. That's why your site got a name "hithisismyfirstsite.blogspot.com".

Because if I build a blog with 500 articles I wrote on it it will carry much more weight than making 500 individual blogs...

So if you want a blog with 500 articles, why on earth would you create 500 blogs? No one asked you to do so. Just updates your blog with 500 articles, and DANG you'll get a blog filled with 500 articles.

what youll get is:

[yourblogname].[whereverthefuckyourhosting].com

All your posts will be

[yourblogname].[whereverthefuckyourhosting].com/[whateveryourpostiscalled].htm

If you got a new subdomain each time it would be

[yourblogname1].[whereverthefuckyourhosting].com
[anotherblogname].[whereverthefuckyourhosting].com
[someotherblogname].[whereverthefuckyourhosting].com

Subdomains do not count as being primary domain in regards to keyword targeting.

[yourblogname].[whereverthefuckyourhosting].com

is not the same as ww(w).[whereverthefuckyourhosting].com

[yourblogname].[whereverthefuckyourhosting].com/[post1]
[yourblogname].[whereverthefuckyourhosting].com/[post2]

Those two are the same site

Yeah that's not called a sub domain =)

A sub domain is what goes in front of your root domain, e.g.

subdomain1.yourdomain.com
subdomain2.yourdomain.com

yourdomain.com/yourarticlepost.html is just a page under your domain.

So OP, now go build blogspot and wordpress blogs and post 500 articles on them as you said you wanted to do.

I am sure if you are that determined to really execute that plan, you'll see some success.

But the problem is, lots of people JUST DONT DO what they are supposed to do. Instead, they come here and go to the download sections. Lol.

My only concern is doing that and having blogger or wp delete my blog with all my work...maybe a dollar domain would be the best option...

Yep thats a concern.

Which is why personally I would invest in a premium host and use wordpress or joomla software plus a premium url.

But if you want it free you gotta take the risk.

That's a concern and risk worth taking, considering the fact that you are on a tight budget as you said at the beginning.

If that's not the case, I'd never recommend you to build your main money site on a free platform.

If you are focusing on SEO for that domain, then your focus should be only on creating subpages of that domain. Google sees a subdomain as an entirely separate domain, so in essence, you would be creating competition for yourself.

If you're going to use Wordpress, you can set it to have each post be listed as a separate page, and work things out that way. But, don't use subdomains unless you absolutely have to do so. You'd be creating more trouble for yourself than it's worth.

And if you're on a tight budget, just use the netfirms code to get the domain for a buck (as mentioned by a previous poster) and go through the web hosting section of the forum and look for a free hosting offer (1 month free or whatever). You should be able to get up and running in about half an hour if you've got your plan thought out. Please don't use a hosted blog though because you might lose your content. Having your own domain/hosting at least ensures that your content remains your own.

As long as the keyword is in the domain, no matter where it is (before or after), it's already good for SEO.

Stop asking question, and start taking action.

From what I've seen, by looking at your posts and questions, you are worrying too much over things. Just start getting your hands on it. Of course it's good to ask people over things that you don't know. But remember that people learn faster and quicker from what they've done whether it's a success or a mistake.

Execute your plan. Then if there's any question, come back here. I'm sure there are lot of people here that would be glad to help.

Maybe I'm missing something here (I doubt it) but you just directly contradicted yourself when saying you wanted it to have "good google authority for ranking" and that you wanted the blogging platform's name in your url (as in a free subdomain piggybacking on that blogging platform's domain as opposed to your own) in the same sentence - If you can avoid it NEVER go with a subdomain just pay a few bucks for your OWN domain, not only will it have exponentially better SEO value, but it will look credible, a subdomain blog does not look credible in the least to the average web user in 2017...

tumblr, blogspot all provide free urls under their site. You can try building your blogs from there.
