Facebook Reach For Links Gone

If I understand well, now facebook know there is a problem with their system. This is an excerpt from the Facebook letter:

Links on pages in Western-Europe doing better than ever. However links on pages with USA audience have little to no reach. 50k likes and like 2 clicks. I hope it will return to normal soon.

I’m convinced something has been going on and hopefully they are working on it. I also received a notification that there had been a problem with reach on Facebook stories and everything should be back to normal. I noticed that reach on stories is doing better than before so it might be worth it for whoever reads it to upload stories on Facebook to compensate it a bit.

I had about 1 week of good organic reach and now it's starting to go back down to zero. No one has looked at an article for days...

Me too in Hungay. It's completely like they've been deleted. No meaning to share any link to the facebook. A wrote to the support every 3. day, and I still not get any exact answer. They gave me standard answer, I tink they give to everybody the same answer.

What I don't understand, if it is not a bug, why only a few pages were affected and they got a drastic reduction in reach, instead of all pages being affected and everyone's reach being reduced a little bit.It is absolute not fair... Second thing, why I never find any news about it? It started at end of march...

well i am in about 120 fb pages as admin, and ALL are affected. 95% are ad grown with FB ads. So yeah, they let you spend money on growing pages and then completely shut down the reach.

Nope, since April first. There has been a small uptick at the end of June but way back down again.

I would like to tell you about my experience. I tried one thing. I changed the name of my Facebook page and the link to my Facebook page, and suddenly I had hundreds of online visitors on my website. This lasted for about 10 minutes and then back to zero again. I tried the facebook pages used by my other website and the same thing happened there. So there are some very interesting things happening here, I think Facebook is deliberately suppressing some people's organic reach.

Tell that to the millions of people we send from Facebook to our website. It's declined a lot for sure but not gone. But April had a massive hit. We recoverd a bit so atleast we making money again

Any luck in getting the traffic back? We've struggled since april 1st aswell and seems like we are a bit of the same. We have bunch of big PB pages that used to drive great traffic for our news sites until Facebook changed their algoritm which hurt Publishers. We are basically on same level as april.

I think this is the time Facebook is updating its algorithm so this problem occurs

Facebook has reduced interaction on posts with links leading outside of Facebook a long time ago. If you didnt run ads and within the last 1 year you still have visits to the links you attached. It's very possible that it's a trick, so carefully research the way you did it and try many ways to find that trick

Still low here. Spread over our publishers we have over 50 pages posting but all dropped hard. All pages were made with FB ads, they let you spend money and then give you no reach. Even pictures on some pages have no reach, on some they have reach but those don't bring in money .
