I have created a web page for salesforce services and after some time I had to update its content and also change the URL to salesforce development services, from that day my page was crawled on November 18th but not yet indexed and neither crawled later on. what should I do to get that page index again?

Submit your revised sitemap to GSC and check for your robots.txt file isn't blocking crawl access. Update internal links across your website, build backlinks and do social sharing's.

LiteSpeed Web Cache Manager, just do research, it will fix it asap.

as mentioned submit your updated URL to Google via Search Console for manual indexing. Also sometimes it will take time for Google to re-crawl and index the page.

Hello @Captainleo You need to do some analysis to identify the actual problem and then take necessary steps accordingly. Google and every search engine web crawler have a re-visit policy that guides it when to crawl the page again. Low quality pages and sites are less frequently crawled in comparison with higher quality pages. Here is a short checklist -

#1. Identify and Resolve Technical issues for indexing -
(i). Make sure that your web-page is accessible by search engines (you can use google search console to inspect and test live URL)
(ii). It should return 200 OK status and all the important elements of the page like images, css, js etc. should also be accessible to search engines.
(iii). It should not have any noindex in meta robots tag or X-robots tag.
(iv). Page should not be massive that can't be read by search engine.

#2. Resolve content quality issues -
(i). If your page or website had low quality content then Google might not find it appropriate to crawl it very frequently. So make sure to have quality content on the page that you want to index as well as on your website. For getting more crawl-budget, you should keep posting new quality content on your website.
(ii) Submit the page for indexing through google search console URL Inspect tool or with sitemap.

#3. Improve its worth through backlinks
Create some quality backlinks for it. It is a time taking process so don't worry much and give it sufficient time.

#4. If nothing works then move it
If your content was not good earlier and was not ranking anywhere then you can just take off that page and publish your new page with better content. You can also 301 redirect old page to new page. It will index faster than the page that earlier had low quality content.

Hope it answer your doubts...

Hi
If you have tried everthing then create a new page and update the content there and redirect the page to the new one.
Along with the do share the url on reddit, twitter etc. Also do some high quality link insertions and manually index the page in GSC

If your page isn't popping up after you changed things, go to Google Search Console and tell them to take another look. Also, make sure your new content is solid and follows SEO tips to boost its chances of getting noticed

Thanks for sharing everything in detail. Just wanted to ask if I create a new page, do I keep the same URL or change the URL again?

If you create new page as old was not ranking good then -
1. Give it a new URL
2. Repurpose the old content to new page and also add more unique content (text, images, videos etc.) on it to make more informative.
3. Redirect old URL to the new URL

Try with rankmath plugin, remove the other plugins.

Let Google know about your updated page and ensure it's redirected correctly. Keep creating good stuff to catch Google's eye again.

If you have tried all the stuffs then you can make a new webpage, add more informative content so it can gets indexed by search engines, and submit a new sitemap with the updated URL. Use search console tool to manually request indexing and ensure your robots.txt file isn't blocking the page. Internal linking and updating external links can also improve chances of indexing.

Check your 301 redirects are properly set up. A common oversight is forgetting to update internal links to the new URL, which can confuse search engines. Next, dive into Google Search Console. Use the URL Inspection tool on the new page to see if there's any specific reason it's not being indexed. Sometimes, it's as simple as accidentally tagging the page with a 'noindex' directive or blocking it in the robots.txt file. If everything checks out, manually request indexing through the console. It can nudge Google to re-evaluate the page.

Had a similar issue last year with a client's site. Turned out, we had legacy noindex tags on several redirected pages.
