Embedding video to a link on twitter tweet

Seriously? This was from a while back, I must have had like 1k+ followers on that account and I'm pretty sure it worked out just fine at the time. Must be how the embed is coded on the website you're linking that it's not working out, or something from Twitter's side of the chain. From what I know, it even used to work with Youtube videos, but these days, it doesn't work for YT links anymore (haven't tried it out again). Alternatively, you could always just upload a short video alongside your related link on the post.

Its done through Twitter Ads. Check the 'TweetDetail' API response and you'll find the necessary info. Before Musk removed the Source text from tweets, it would say "Twitter for iPhone, Twitter for Android, Twitter for Advertisers", now that is hidden on the front-end but is still visible in the API response.

What they do is, they publish a Tweet which contains a Video from Advertisers Dashboard and insert the Custom URL, if you click on the Video itself, it will redirect you to the Website of their choice.

Ah, you need to be spoon-fed. Go to twitter ads, create the ad, publish it as a post, done. The thing that you don't know, coz you are too lazy to test, it is you need to attach your card to ads before you will see all the functionality (right now I bet you see only few tabs and can't do what you want).

Yeah man, you're a bit too late.

My advice - don't focus on active link inside the video - you are wrong if you think more views = more conversions.
Do more research, look what other people also doing there - images, clickbaity text, links in bio, comments, pinned posts, different edges like milfs or anime (e.g. ai gf etc).

Thank you for replying sheenue... actually, I’m new on Twitter. On my old account, I uploaded and shared NSFW content in different communities, and now I’m getting more than 200k impression per day. I even added a link in my bio, but I didn’t get any clicks. Right now, I’m using SmartLinks.

Well now you know your bottleneck - if you have views but low on clicks - fix your CTA. If you have clicks but no conversions - fix your funnel. If you have no views - fix the tech part or warmup process. Etc.

Its not easy and fast like it used to be tho and it's also a numbers game, I dunno how much you can expect from 1 account even if its big. 200k imressions with average 0.5% CTR should be about 1k clicks - if your eCPM is good enough you can expect to earn smth close to $5-10 a day (smartlink) from such mix traffic. But I suppose if you have big account its better to make a funnel into discord or tg and convert users there.

You dont need to go that far with real video tho, just use "fake video" image with play button on it - users will click anyway and its much easier to implement (through X cards- dig deeper here https://developer.x.com/en/docs/x-for-websites/cards/overview/summary-card-with-large-image).
