Does soundcloud bot farming work in 2024?

Sound cloud has paid plan with $99/year, plus i heard they are more strict on bots.
How does the farming actually work, how do one creates the music content for streaming?
What are the pay outs like, are they based on minutes your stream got listened to & how much do established people in this business earn each month?

Anyone having expertise here sharing there experience and clearing the doubts will be really healpful for me.

I have extensive experience with bot farming SoundCloud. This is my expertise and what I do full time online for a living.

You can check out the posts I’ve made here already on this subject specifically.

I can share some insights on what you can expect approximately with streaming on SoundCloud as I had made this post recently on Reddit as well so I will just post it here as well.


You need to substantial amount of streams to get enough ad streams for it to be worth something.

Here is an example.

One of my artist received 390k ad streams and the payout was about $640. So in this sense I made on average from this artist $1.64 per 1k ad streams. But in total I did about 920k streams and out of 920k I got 390k ad streams and from that it paid me out the $640.

Now If you did the math and looked it at from the total number of streams then it would break down to about an average of $0.70-$0.80 per 1k total streams.

I would say that on average between all my 50+ artist I currently have, the average pay per 1k ad streams is about $1.85.

Here is how you can apply this math for your own streams to get a good estimate about what you can expect to get from streaming.

X (number of total stream) divided by 1000 = X multiplied by $0.70 (minimum) = X

Tips: spread out the streams over many artist

this will again take some investment as you will need to purchase next pro. So it’s $16 a month essentially per account. I like to create 1 artist on each account with 1 album of between 15-20 tracks.

You can link 7 accounts per PayPal account. But you could also link same bank accounts.

What you will want to do to stay under the radar is keep your payouts on each artist under $500 for no review payouts. This won’t trigger a manual review so you shouldn’t have any issues with the automatic payout. Sometimes especially the first time you get a payout over $500 it will be a delayed payout in which you’d have to contact support. But as long as you properly stream using accounts, have a good ratio between likes comments and repost then you should be all good. I haven’t had any issues even with having to contact support as sometimes I will get $700-$800 payouts per account. But a general rule of thumb is to try to keep your payouts per artist under that $500.


Now for other platforms, like Apple or Amazon; these again I wouldn’t recommend as they will not only remove your music from their platform but once they report to your distributor they will take your music down from every platform. They have paid out previously even after removing music but it really depends on which distributor you go with. I just wouldn’t bother with bot farming these platforms too much risk for the amount of work and investment that will go into it. You might get 1 payout from them but it’s not worth it.

For these reason the absolute best platform currently is SoundCloud. Easy for beginners to get started into even with little investment and you can be able to build up from there.

Hopefully this has helped you out. I will say that there are many other factors that plays into this like if you get only ad streams vs getting Sub Streams as sub streams pays out way more. Also what country the ad stream was in as USA will have the better payouts. Etc etc. but this can give you a good estimate on what you can expect.

And I do not personally hire artist. I make all my artist myself. These would be considered ghost artist.
What you want to do is make these artist look as Legitimate as possible, add profile picture, create a bio, add banner, follow other artists. Create social media profiles for the accounts as well to add to the legitimacy.
Furthermore, you will want to use accounts to gain followers, likes, reposts and comments.

You can create your own tracks by using paid AI programs that can create unique non lyrical instrumental music that you will own the full rights to distribute and monetize. Or you can also purchase lyrical music online from these websites that sell music. Usually they can range from $70-$999 per track. So the easiest way to go is just go the AI route and that’s all you would need to have your own music for your artist accounts.

I can't say I have much authority on the topic but looking around the forums there seem to be a lot more people struggling to be successful using Spotify after their improvements in bot detection. Hence my interest in this method. Perhaps Soundcloud isn't far behind other streaming services mentioned above.

Yes, I would agree that having the knowledge on how to properly setup the correct way and having inside knowledge on what to do and especially what to avoid will be very valuable information. It will really accelerate you quickly into this field as for me it took 7-8 years worth of making mistakes and really learning the inns and out of the music bot farming business. So I’m more than happy to help those not make the same mistakes I once did when I first started out.

Now, this is also the reason I absolutely love SoundCloud is because of the very quick turnaround. Let’s say you started streaming while monetized as quickly as next week on the 12th of February. You can expect to get the payout, of those monetized streams, at the end of the month usually around 28th-31st of March. Typically the payment goes out the last day of each month. But sometimes it can get delayed (SoundClouds end) and they payout on the 1st. But that’s how quickly you can start seeing a turnaround. If you start next month in March when you get monetized you can expect to see your return on investment at the end of the month in April.

So unlike Spotify and other platforms where you have to wait 3 months to get payout, SoundCloud is a much shorter timeframe.
