Has anyone else had their wprobot stop posting? On, or around, 04/21/10 all of the blogs that I have running with wprobot stopped autoposting.

On some of them I havent made any changes to the plugins, feeds, or keywords but they still stopped posting. I am wondering if maybe the wordpress installs were forced to update with me taking action. I notice that they are all 2.9.2 now but I could have sworn that some were out of date before.

I have used the button to manually post but the Next Post date stays the same. I have removed and readded feeds and keywords which resulted in the Next Post date/time getting updated but then it never updates after the post occurs.

Any help would be appreciated. Looks like other people on the wprobot.net forums are complaining about the same thing.

I think it is nulled but I am not sure how to tell. I downloaded it from a bittorrent.

It is version 2.04 running on GoDaddy WP 2.9.2 and 2.9.0. I guess the version doesnt matter as much as I thought because it has stopped working on each of the sites.

In the WPRobot module in WP Admin, do you see little red exclamation points next to the keywords?

I ended up buying most of the wprobot modules. It really is worth the money and is updated often enough to keep it running well.

pino262, i found your posts on the other forums, example ************************, but the sources have all been taken down.

I also looked on isohunt for pino262 but found nothing.

Could it be that my 2.04 is not nulled and is therefore being disabled by the dev?

Thanks. Got the PM, installed, and readded keywords. It looks like I might still be having the problem though.

Maybe it is an incompatible plugin or something.

There are known to be conflicts with duplicate post plug ins.

If you have any, try to deactivate them and reset keywords and it should work again.

Hope it helps.

I actually dropped the article option because i would randomly get parse errors.

I have updated the primary site to WP 2.9.2, completely uninstalled the wprobot 2.04, updated all the out of date plugins, then installed the wprobot version you recommended.

Same issue... Did the manual post and things posted as expected but the dates and times of the Next Post are still static.

I did a little more checking on changes made on the domains around the time that failures began. I did create a forum folder and installed Simple Machines Forum which should be independent of the WP stuff but the times do coincide.

I find it interesting that they do not include any dates on their "What's New?" page.

I have already had someone tell me that it is worth the purchase but after reading this thread I figured I'd ask some of you who are already using it (nulled or not) if it definitely worth the purchase? Are the updates really frequent and is the support good?

It's not that I don't trust the person who originally told me it is worth the purchase, I am just looking for some extra feedback after reading this thread.

Thanks!

Maybe you can try another articlesoure, maybe your ip is blacklisted or something, i ve problems on several servers....
Go to WP-Robot options;
Click the dropdown thing and choose the second option

Hey I've had some of the same problems with the WPRObot 2.12 you shared. It doesn't autopost and never did. Could it be that one of the other plugins is messing with it?

Deactivated everything and reactivated only the wp-robot then removed and readded keywords. Fail...

Going the route of bad db I uninstalled, deleted files, then manually dropped the db using mySQL admin. I then reinstalled, updated keywords, and tried again with all other plugins deactivated. Failed again...

I did have the Duplicate Posts plugin but deactivated that long before the wprobot stopped working. I have since reactivated all the plugins, deleted the duplicate posts plugin, and it is still broken. The only other thing that I can think of is an in
compatibility with the Simple Machine Forums. I will uninstall that even though it doesn't actually integrate with WordPress it just shares the same db so maybe there is a conflict there.

I have also tried the Post Now button and it does work properly. It just doesnt do it automatically.

yes, wprobot not work anymore..
i dont know why, till now i use AB plugin..
works great for me..

There's nothing wrong with 212. Working fine at my end. It's a great piece of auto software that is giving me Amazon sales every month.

My wprobot worked fine. :-) I think it just conflict with other plugin. I have a little experience with it. When I check the next posting, it shows 01-01-1969 (Whatever, I forgot it), and it doesn't post anything. I deactivate pinger plugin, and it works fine.

yeah , that's exactly what mine says. " next post in 1969".

Gonna try turning off some other plugins then.

UPDATE:

I deactivated the Delete Duplicate post plugin and it works just fine now. Shows future dates for automatic posts instead of stuck in 1969. .... 1969 was a great year though! LOL

thanks

ck your hosting or try with another hosting ... or delete WP robot database from WP and try .

Glad to hear you are up and running again Premise911. I have also run into that with the dupe posts plugin.

This time I am afraid it might be the WP db or install or something.

I have another domain running at GoDaddy on Windows hosting and wprobot is working just fine. It is just my domains running on Linux that are dead. The only things I did was add a forum folder and installed the Simple Machines Forum. I took special care to make sure there was no connection that would cause a problem but apparently it did. I dont know if it is a folder thing or a db thing.

I also found that even though I have deactivated, deleted wprobot files, and manually dropped the db there is still some configuration information in the wprobot options when I reinstall. Those options, such as noise words, api keys, etc, must be stored in a table other than wprobot in mysql.

I think my only option at this point is to totally wipe out WP, WP-Robot, all the files, plugins, and folders and reinstall everything. The only problem is that I have quite a lot of posts that will then 404 which hurts my SE ranks. I can export then import back into WP after reinstallation but I hope this wont mess anything up if it is a db problem.
