I just migrated my site to digitalocean but after some hours when I type domain name it shows ip address and can’t open.
define( 'WP_SITEURL', 'https://example.com' );
define( 'WP_HOME', 'https://example.com' );
It sounds like there might be an issue with your DNS Settings....
Check on your domain settings
Double-check your server Configuration
Sometimes after restarting your web server it can resolve your issues
I have this error: NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALIDSeems like some wp config (file or database) or htaccess/virtualhost server side problem,
If the last one worked, it's due to the way of importing the database during the migration,
- check the website url in wp-admin settings
- check wp-config file
- check your htacces file,
disbale it by renaming the file, restart litespeed if you're using it and test if it works- check your virtualhost server file
- you can add these couple of line to wp-config to force the website url, add it at the bottom of the file where they're commenting where you can edit
Code:define( 'WP_SITEURL', 'https://example.com' ); define( 'WP_HOME', 'https://example.com' );
you'll have to run a query that will replace all the values of the ip with the domain in the database,
more specifically in the wp_posts & wp_options tables to replace the internal links & website domain values,
make sure to backup the database before making any changes, it could get screwed
Try reinstalling the SSL certificate, clear the website & browser cache and cookies and check again,I have this error: NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID
Wait more... let the dns get propagate...The funny thing is i have this issue on chrome only
send me details may be I can help you
Verify your domain settings and review your server configuration. Restart your web server I think it solve the issues you're facing, so make sure to double-check these aspects for a solution.

I cleared the cache of the chrome browser and now works normal. I'm just confused with one thing, when i write the ip address instead of domain name it shows the copy of the website and i can log in, thats normal?Try reinstalling the SSL certificate, clear the website & browser cache and cookies and check again,
Looks like your SSL was installed in the previous server and not into the current one,
Always double check with the incognito mode to make sure of the status update
No,I cleared the cache of the chrome browser and now works normal. I'm just confused with one thing, when i write the ip address instead of domain name it shows the copy of the website and i can log in, thats normal?
You mean in wordpress site address? Yes. Added CNAME and A dns records domain name directs to ip address. The copy of the website still exist but when i try to log in it redirects to domain name.No,
Did you add the domain in the website hosting panel or just point the domain to the ip?
Seems like virtualhost problem
