If you post article on website that allows you to create articles and give you subdomain, If you post low quality content would only your subdomain get penalty or the entire domain? Also if the website is big would it matter if you post low quality anyway?

only the subdomain typically, there can be other factors involved, but its pretty much all on the subdomain.

Posting low-quality content on a website with user-generated articles could lead to penalties not only for your subdomain but also for the entire domain, impacting its overall reputation. Despite a website's size, maintaining content quality is crucial as search engines consider individual page quality, and low-quality content may still harm your site's ranking and user experience.

In my opinion if the content is low according to search engine guidelines there are changes to face penalized and it could harm the reputation and affects the domain ranking

Google recently told us that they have already implemented this algorithm and it is already working. Previously, the subdomain penalty did not apply to the root domain. Now the main domain will also be penalized for any problems on its subdomains.

i dont know who told you, ghost, bird penguin or maybe kiwi, but this logic doesnt apply.

take sample sub domain wordpress.com and blogspot com. many of them have LQ content, but did google erase them??? absolutely not. They only apply pinalty for one subdomain not ENTIRE DOMAIN

I have many subdomains .. this info is crucial for me .. can you point to the link talking about this new algorithm?

Yeah I wouldn't want somebody to run low quality content on a subdomain of a site I own, would you?

Yes, this was said by Sallivan a Google employee, and after confirmed by Muller also a Google stradnik. You can find this information on their Twitter feed.
Also, Gary Illyes (a Google employee) answered this question at a conference in Boston and then duplicated this information on Google's Offers Hour podcast (on YouTube).

If you have all your fingers on the ground you will have no problem googling this information, I think it was covered by all the major SEO portals.

If you don't see something, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
Don't you have any questions about the fact that some sites can copy other people's materials and top them, while others get blocked and deleted for the same?
Also with subdomains, what is allowed to the gods is not available to everyone else. Therefore, those who can be punished will be punished.

From my understanding, when your content is in low quality, you have chances to get penalized.
The algorithm includes not only punishment for low quality content, it is part of the algorithm against parasites, so you can be penalized for any misuse of your site's ranking (providing off-topic publications to everyone, or when you post such materials yourself).

During the testing period, several of my news sites fell under the test of this algorithm.

Although news is a neutral niche, but this algorithm is also applied to it (due to the fact that large news outlets started abusing the publication of off-topic articles).
My sites also had sales articles in sections on special subdomains, off-topic news articles, and the major news sites were penalized for this.

I was able to talk to a Google employee about a penalty on one of these sites and he confirmed in a private conversation the penalty for this very thing. I was also able to have a long conversation with Google's Bard to get the same conclusions from him (Bard has access to many of Google's internal databases and data and if asked well, can give out information from those databases that is not and never will be in the public domain).

An interesting sight of view ,to the Google ( god's) call this satan by his name ( wef) , why can some sites copy content rank high without get any punishment ,with or without have subdomains? Big media news sites,etc,etc....?
