How come google wont "crawl" or index my pages.

I signed up for webmaster tools, I have two blogspot blogs and google's webmaster tools has no data on either of them.

I'm confused. Both of the blogs have posts, Both are published.

Anyone want to help a noob out?

Build some back links to your blogs and ping them. Sometime you have to "help" G find your sites.

@cheva - that was a pretty good link. I've never come across the "let me google that for you" site before, I'm gonna get some good use out of it now I know its there.

BHW needs a similar "let me search it for you" script. I always just post 1000's of other existing threads but your link really makes the point even better.

@OP - this is the method I use to get indexed. It works everytime for me. I don't even bother submitting my site to google at all, and my sites still get indexed within hours or usually within minutes.

This is just to get indexed fast, you need to do more work to get good results in the SERPs. Thats a totally different thing, although most of the time my sites do pretty well for position as well.

How long do you think?

when you activate webmaster tools on your site it can take a week or so before it starts displaying stats.
but your site has to be indext, otherwise there wont be any stats to display offcourse.

to index your site just digg it and build a few links, that should do the trick most of the time within a day
