is there a limit in lists on Twitter?

I created 4 lists and made them private and I was adding accounts manually to them, but suddenly no one was being added.

In total 100 members were added. So is there a limit of 100?

I have a private list of 300 accounts, so I don't think there's a limit like that.

After 24 hrs I was able to add more accounts. I believe you can only add 100 accounts in a list in 24 hrs.

Will try to add more today and see if the limit is still there or not

Your issue as already mentioned is probably just rate limiting. There's one twitter handle I follow that has over 150 list and some of those list have many, many hundreds of follows. So I don't think there is a limit. He's a legit OG /ADHD twitter dude so I'm sure that listing activity was built up over years.
