Started Local SEO because someone I knew introduced me to it. Started with rank and rent. In about 4 months got the GBP ranking and finally got someone to pay for it. Was $500 a month.

That fired me up started a local SEO agency, cold called someone and closed a deal for $675 a months. Now I post heavily on socials, cold call to get clients.

Am working on commission with another person as well. Things are going well will probably do monthly retainer with him in future.

First guy who paid me for the GBP wants me to do the same thing but for a new business of his. Charging him $1000 a month so at ~$2200 right now.

Have a meting today with someone so wish me luck, lol.

I don't see how cold emailing will get you any clients.

Back when I ran my SEO business I would get new clients with cold email. Make personalized emails to their industry. It's all about not being too general.
