I have my website ranking top 10 in every keyword I want + a bunch of generic at the moment. I just wrote about 40-50 articles and need to go back an revise them. Right now they are sitting at 400-600 words human written. Most blogs I found of competitors are just repeated content barely updated on blogs under 500 words, just tons of service page adding up to 150-200 pages and I found 1 repeated the same content on every page but updating the blogs monthly.

I am curious how to finish off this strategy so I am just in update mode. Is 750 words enough for all of them in little clusters of matching content maybe with some mistakes. I dont think it will matter much until another google update but 1500 words would result in tons of fluff. I am trying to gauge a word count really. I am not trying to outrank all of them, I just want to rank 1-4 in serps from 8-10. It looks like none of them are doing a blog strategy, I just see spammy backlink updates biweekly. I am adding backlinks as well very niche, when i can get them via outreach

Words is not a thing. I understand that some tools suggest some word counts to match your competitors, but these are just extra easy to implement features to put things a little more fancy

Ranking with just 500 words and all competing forums also doing good with this. Is there any moment to be made in this niche? Personally, I do not post an article less than 1500 in any niche now to remain safe from Google updates.

Keep it real and helpful—stick to around 750 words, make it interesting. Google likes that. Toss in some longer bits for big topics. Focus on quality, not just words.

Prioritize quality over quantity. Avoid adding unnecessary words just to fill the space.

Avoid unnecessary fluff and write relevant articles which prioritize use value over word count

It is an adult Niche, so what you usually get is a person creating repetitive blogs with the same text of hire me, sexy, me hire, i sexy, you hire me, i am sexy. And just a bunch of this w/o context. I am not sure if these blogs help their authority. Websites that have nothing to do with strippers have all the SGE spots i think due to this.

When I go back for my next edit on all like 45 of them I will hit this count on each. A few longer ones exist because of the topic. Am I waiting for the next helpful content update for this to be meaningfulr?

Roger that, this is why i stopped at about 45 blogs instead of 100. But still dropping one a month for 2024. I think I am competing with AI for the most part.
