Hello all,

my website was on the search result yesterday and now there is no trace of it ?!!!
when i search site:mydomain(.)com i see one linked subdomain, my main domain no longer exist ?
never used google console and i tried to see if that helps so i made an account and there is no data or notifications or anything
am wondering why did this happen and how to approach this issue, is there a way to know for sure ?

thank you all

try to inspect the urls in google search console and see if they can be indexed
URL is not on Google
This page is not indexed. Pages that aren't indexed can't be served on Google. See the details below to learn why it wasn't indexed

Make sure this isn't a bug. I had a heart attack when this happened to one of my sites earlier in the week.

However, I used a VPN to search for the site and it was still there.

Still unsure what happened.

What are the details mentioned in search console why it wasn't indexed?
Try to submit your sitemap in Google search console and wait to index. And check your robots.txt file also.

when you type the site into google, in quotes, does it show up? But use a VPN for this and also log out of your google account and also use private (incognito) mode at the same time.

So, log out of google + use VPN + use private tab + type your site into google, in quotes

If your site shows up, it's most likely an issue with google, if it doesn't show up you've probably been deindexed for whatever reason (google caught you building links, or you've been the victim of a DMCA takedown, or you've been hacked or your site has malware, or you're having pirated / copyright protected content, etc...)

Check Google Search Console for manual actions. If none, inspect robots.txt and ensure no global noindex is set. Fetch as Google in GSC and request reindex. If issues persist, might need a pro to dive deep.

Maybe they deindexed your whole site, try submitting to search console and giving it some time.

Try typing site:your domain.com in Google, if nothing comes up you’ve been de-indexed and you’ll need to reindex your page.

What type of website are referring to?
How old it is?
How good is the content?
How about the link profile?

No one could help with little to not data,
It could be either a bug or your website got some kind of algorithmic penalty

What was the website about? Your website is penalized from what I know. This happens when you are in a shady niche (only to my knowledge).

As someone in the previous comments said "On the Top of google search console - Inspect any url - paste your main domain there and enter"

And sent it for indexing.

It will give you a report after few hours.

Check if your site got hacked? This is most common reason for site disappearing.

Sudden disappearance from search results can be concerning, and there could be several reasons for this. Here are some steps you can take to investigate and address the issue:

  1. Check for Penalties:
    • Google may have penalized your website for violating its guidelines. Check your Google Search Console (formerly known as Webmaster Tools) account for any manual actions or penalties. If you're not familiar with Google Search Console, now is a good time to set it up and verify ownership of your website.
  2. Technical Issues:
    • Examine your website for technical issues that might affect crawling and indexing. Make sure there are no robots.txt file issues or meta tags preventing search engine bots from accessing your site.
  3. Content Changes:
    • If you've made significant changes to your website content or structure, Google might need some time to reindex and adjust. However, sudden disappearance is unusual. Verify that your content complies with Google's guidelines.
  4. Server Issues:
    • Ensure that your website is accessible and your server is running properly. Frequent downtime can negatively impact your search rankings.
  5. Check for Malware:
    • Sometimes, a website might be hacked, leading to its removal from search results. Use Google Search Console to run a security check for any malware or security issues.
  6. Backlink Profile:
    • Assess your backlink profile. If your site has received a large number of spammy or low-quality backlinks, it might impact your search ranking.
  7. Google Algorithm Updates:
    • Google frequently updates its search algorithms. Check if there have been recent updates, as they can influence search rankings.
  8. Competitor Activity:
    • Monitor your competitors to see if there have been changes in their strategies that might be affecting your rankings.
  9. Submit a Reconsideration Request:
    • If you find that your site has been penalized, and you've rectified the issues, you can submit a reconsideration request through Google Search Console.
  10. Professional Help:
    • If you're unable to identify the issue or resolve it, consider seeking assistance from SEO professionals or web developers who specialize in search engine optimization.
Remember that SEO is an ongoing process, and it's essential to stay informed about changes in search algorithms and best practices. Regularly monitoring your website's performance and addressing issues promptly will help maintain a healthy online presence.

it's an eCommerce website aged 3 and a half year, i don't have content on it but i was 4th on the ranking when you type a specific keyword.
how to tell if it's a penalty ?? google console is showing nothing to me except for ""your website is no on google""

am not sure how to approach this, what would a hacker do to the website ?
i scanned my website with google and got "Safe"
i think a hacker would take advantage of the traffic and emails in my website not sure why would he de-index me completely
my knowledge is limited and i mean no offense, please share your thoughts on this thank you !

UPDATE : i just got a customer and i asked him how did he find my website ?? he simply said i did a google search ? !!! what on earth is going on honestly am so confused

I was just about to say that you're screwed because google deindexed your site because of the backlinks. But then you posted this update...
