From where can I find the cheapest .info domains? like as cheap as $1.

I cant find any other topic like this in this section. there was a guy at SSEC that used to sell such domains but ive forgotten the URL.

Don't buy .info if you want to get indexed by G00gle.

Why?

G00gle hates .info, especially if they are thin (i.e not much content) affiliate sites.

If you don't need G00gle for your BH activity, then go for it.

Godaddy often runs a special where you can get .info for $1 each plus free privacy, when you buy 5 or more of them at once. They often don't advertise this on their home page, so sometimes you just have to add 5-6 to your cart (plus privacy) and then enter check out to see.

Name.com also has good deals, $2.99 infos and privacy is always free.

Don't take this as a flame but I've heard this and I've also heard that they "frown on" 1 year registrations too. It's said to be some sort of sign of lack of long-term business intent. Anyway, I still haven't seen any hardcore evidence on it. Like I said, no flame intended but I'd love to see proof either way.

Not taken as a flame :-).

All of my BANS .info sites were ranking pretty high on G for my keywords (1st and 2nd page) then in early May they were de-indexed and still are. Others have had the same problem. Traffic went from 200 uv per day down to zero, G00gle webmaster tools still says they are not in the index.

They were 1 year and 2 year registrations. I've seen on other forums that some people are blaming Godaddy and their ilk for selling cheap domains that are mostly used for junk sites.

I just moved on with my .info sites, they can be used for something else that doesn't need the big G.

I have info's which are automated blogs scrapping results.
they are all in the G's index

There is no problems with .info, maybe you should be more carefull with your site because your a suspect but if your content is ok and your not spamming 10K on backlinks a day you should be just fine with .info.

Dude, I have been using .infos for BH activity and rank in top 5 results in google for some good competitive keywords.

thanks

I have a .info site that is a pr3, I have had it a couple of years now. I think that G looks at the content and type of site, don't know for sure though but I have several .info sites and all have been indexed for some time now. I will continue to use them.
PM me if you want to see the pr3 site.

1&1 has been running a special for the last several months on these for about $1 each. Their standard policy is free privacy so that might be included as well.

I think if you get a dot info with your actual keywords in it then it is just fine.

Godaddy dude. They got the sale going on now.

Sometimes I have seen a sale on the dot nets too.

A few days ago, I got a 1.99 dollar .info domain from godaddy for my online casino site. I think you should snap up an info domain there too if you want a reasonably priced domain.
