Hello everyone,

As you can deduce from the frequency of my posts, I am fairly new to affiliate marketing and have been occasionally browsing this forum for excellent SEO deals for my other businesses for a few years. However, I have now embarked on my first affiliate program. The catalyst was the creation of a product I believe to be exceptional, which has already generated some promising sales.

I'm offering a comprehensive Forex history data set that I've developed over 15 years to achieve its current quality level. This endeavor originated from my own need for high-quality Forex history data when I began trading in 2008. It is, in essence, a treasure trove for Forex traders and strategy developers using platforms like Metatrader, StrategyQuant X, EA Studio, etc., offering genuine, high-resolution M1 historical data for 28 pairs, with 21 of those pairs dating back to 1987. This unique offering is not available anywhere else and even includes lifetime updates. It may seem like a niche market, but I have already sold a substantial amount of this data set as a side venture over the years. Customers from the US to Japan have indicated how crucial this data has been to their trading success, commending its precision and the competitive advantage it provides. Therefore, a few months ago, I decided to scale up and began constructing a business and website around it. It has been challenging, as I've used Systeme for hosting and marketing needs, and despite its many advantages, the affiliate marketplace there is not particularly vibrant.

My dilemma is this:

I wish to expand my affiliate network. With a high affiliate commission of €239 per sale and my product's demonstrated value to customers, I am convinced it is a mutually beneficial offer. However, I need assistance in devising strategies to attract and engage affiliates - more than the three I currently have. I'm seeking effective ways to promote this opportunity to potential affiliates who would be as enthusiastic about it as I am about creating and enhancing it, especially in such a specialized niche. Marketing is not my forte - I'm more of a data/numbers person - so I'd prefer to delegate this aspect to professionals, and I believe that affiliate marketing is an apt approach. I wonder what other good platforms exist beyond ClickBank, which is well-known even to someone with limited experience in affiliate marketing like myself.

So, to the experienced affiliates and marketers here, I am all ears for your advice, tips, and strategies. How can I elevate the profile of this affiliate program? I am keen to learn and progress.

Thank you very much!

Anyone? Is the commission too low possibly @ 239€?

I am seriously wondering why there is such silence given the high commission I am paying. I was convinced that there would be good interest from affiliates, as it seems such high ticket offers are very rare. But then again, I am new to all of this and would be happy to hear any hints as to why there is no interest in such an affiliate program. Thanks in advance.

Clickbank is the last place you should be going for finance products. It's basically become a shell of itself and only has scammy stuff these days.

There are better platforms out there like CJAffiliate, Maxbounty etc which are designed for good high ticket offers.

Rolling your own affiliate system and doing some marketing would be great too. Just DM some popular Twitter influencers about your offer and they will promote it themselves.

You have a niche product in a niche market. That too, in a blackhat seo community. I do not think folks here would be really interested in stuff like finance data offers simply because you need to be part of niche communities to promote offers like that.

Hey Ashk881,

I appreciate your input and suggestions. I'm starting to get the same vibe about Clickbank – it feels a bit too scammy for my taste, which is a shame given their large affiliate base.

I'm going to explore the platforms you've mentioned. I've come across their names before, but since I'm just launching my first affiliate program, everything is pretty fresh to me. My product is quite specialized – it's a niche within a niche, as you've aptly put it.

Currently, I'm running my Forex History Data Treasure program on the Systeme.io marketplace, an all-in-one marketing and funnel platform that also supports affiliate programs for the products you are selling there. I've already got a handful of affiliates on board, and they're bringing in some sales, also because I seem to be one of the few who offers automated payouts to them, but I'm eager to scale up. I'm convinced there's untapped potential in my offer, particularly because it's so distinctive. I've poured 15 years into creating it, and it's still a work in progress. It's designed to assist traders who are struggling with poor-quality data – which, from what I see, is the majority. I was in their shoes 15 years ago, which is why I developed this historical forex data set in the first place. It was crucial for enhancing the quality of my strategy creation and finally turning a profit, something that's nearly impossible if you don't have the right data as your foundation.

While browsing the affiliate sub-forums here, I got the impression that there might be others working in the Forex niche, though I could be mistaken.

I love your idea about reaching out to influencers on Twitter – I'm going to give that a shot. I've been active in trading forums for many years and have promoted my offer there, but it's tough to generate buzz since many traders prefer to go it alone.

Thanks again for the advice. I'm all ears for any other strategies you or anyone else might have to share.

Cheers!
