Cheaper alternatives to semrush/ahrefs for keyword research?

Some years ago i used longtailpro, but now i think it's too expensive. which ones do you suggest? what about gsa search module or keysearch?. i'm mainly talking about keyword research, but backlink info would be an useful plus.

I know that, but you only get the number of searches, not the competitiveness score of the keyword

You can use Google Bard. Ask it for keywords in your niche with a search volume of between x and y that have low competition. Still pulls data from AdWords but it’s a useful start for free

Learn to rate competitiveness yourself and use keyword planner to gather keywords. Even at that price semrush makes mistake, cheaper tools are way worse, even if you were to use them it would be suggested to confirm manually

That sounds interesting, but i'm not sure if Bard wont "hallucinate" giving low competition info

Yeah, I mean lower end of the tools will give you less granular and less accurate data. That's why no tool can beat ahrefs.

It’s possible but I haven’t noticed any.

At the very least it’s a jumping off point to start your own analysis. Doesn’t matter which tool you use I would always recommend eyeballing the serps.

Semrush/Ahrefs are already the top for SEO. I don't think there's any other tool better than them; it's just that their price is a bit high. You can check out group buy services for Semrush/Ahrefs, they are quite affordable.

I recommend flikover and low price.

When Google products say competitiveness they mean in paid search, not SEO. There's obviously some correlation, but it's not 1:1 and something you need to be aware of.

There are a few sellers in the marketplace that sell private 30-day accounts for SEMRush for $10-20. The doen side is that you won't be able to have long lasting projects, just exports.

You can refer to groupbuyexpert.com; using Ahrefs and Semrush tools on it works quite well.
